PREPARING FOR THE INITIAL APPOINTMENT
Preparation for the first dermatology visit should ideally be initiated at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled appointment date. The animal should not be bathed, and all steroid medications (unless absolutely essential) should be discontinued during this time.
If possible, the client should complete the REGISTRATION FORM and HISTORY FORM prior to the appointment.
A copy of each form should be printed and brought to the initial appointment.
